President's Letter

Dear Friend:

Friends of Howard Haven (FOHH) organized in March 2006, to provide financial, emotional and spiritual help for the present and future residents of the Howard Haven County Home in Kokomo, Indiana.  For many years our community has supported the County home with food, clothing, Christmas gifts, landscaping and a complete remodeling of each room, including the dining and living rooms.  But FOHH has plans to do even more.  FOHH is a non-profit organization and is moving forward with its goals, but needs your prayers, suggestions, and financial support to help achieve them.

FOHH is conducting its annual membership drive beginning  in October.  Our goal is to have at least 200 contributors and raise fifteen thousand dollars. Over the past four and a half years, your contributions were used to build a canopy over the walk leading into the building, purchase stable dining room chairs, replace dining room lights, replace the dangerous walk leading to the gazebo, install handicapped doors, and build an enclosed porch on each end of the building.  Since FOHH is a non-profit organization and all positions on the board of directors are voluntary, every penny donated will go directly toward projects that will benefit the residents.

A contribution form is found in the $$$ Support Howard Haven sub-page of this website

FOHH meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 6:00 P. M., in the Howard Haven County Home dining room, located at 3600 W. Boulevard, Kokomo, Indiana.  We invite you to our meetings and encourage you to become a member of this worthwhile organization.  Your financial support is greatly appreciated.

Bob Croll
President, Friends of Howard Haven
